Need suggestions for new oven
Boo hoo! My oven broke and I need a new one. The old one was constantly shutting itself off mid-bake. I don't have the luxury to choose any oven I want because I rent from my mother-in-law and she will be paying for it. It must be electric, range-top and not too expensive. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help.

If you could swing it check out the JennAir dual oven that fits in same space as a regualar range. I have one with the gas top and electric ovens, and love it.

Wow, that looks like a nice oven but pretty pricey!
You don't need anything fancy; a simple knob for temperature adjustment with no electronic controls is the cheapest way for your M-I-L. But oven capacity differs with each range. This matters if you bake a lot of bread so measure the inside space betwen the walls.
