Perhaps you should clarify what is the "tri-state area.". There are several areas around the US that go by that moniker.

Remember the New Yorker cover showing the New Yorker's concept of U.S.of A geography? Cut the guy some slack. He doesn't know we bake our bread west of the Hudson River too.
