Happy New Year

We started this at my brother's house, yesterday.  We planned to bake it before New Years, but it was a bit slow, and everyone sort of lost intrest, after to much New Years cheer.  So we hung the couch in the fridge until today.  Then we fired up the charcoal, it was well worth the wait.

Looks like you are developing your bread-making skills.  That's a good-looking loaf.  I'm doubly impressed that you are doing this with a dutch oven and charcoal.  It's been a couple of weeks or more since I looked at the gallery, so it's the first time for me to notice your picture.  Good work.

My son and I have been discussing whether or not we can do this on a camping trip. Looks as if we can!

 

If I may aski, how many charcoals did you use, and for how long? Thanks.
