I didn't know they made them

I didn't know they made them that small. I'd love to have it if I had the money right now. I've been watching the prices of Hobarts and they're usually a lot higher than this.

Starting price

Please note that $500 is the starting price, with over 2 days of bidding to go.

Even if no other bids are made, it will still take at least $510 to win. Don't know how likely that will be.

Shipping cost?

Must cost an arm and a leg to ship that thing.  If you're in the same area you could ask to see the machine then pick up without paying addition $$ on shipping and handling.  If not, I wouldn't risk my money.  JMHO  Al

I checked the price of

I checked the price of shipping which is $50 or so to where I am. I could actually drive to pick it up. I realize the $500 is starting price but there isn't exactly a lot of activiity on it either.

grantmasterflash,

Yes, they are indistructable & with enormous torque. I have a 20 qt over 40 yrs old & still ticking, with never a hiccup, knock wood. But yr're right $500. is mucho. I understand perfectly, I would love to purchase a a good grist mill, but can't afford it either. Let us pray to St. Jude! --Mo
