Marble Rye!

Well, I'm just about to pull my first loaves of Marble Rye out of the oven! :) I can't wait to taste it.  Recipe to follow.

Wake and Bake Bread Co.

Loaves in the couche after a 3 hour fermentation.

The final product.

The best part, the spiraled crumb! :)

I will post the recipe soon!

How did they turnout?

Id love to see them, we love rye bread.

This is a bread that I made with Spelt and white flour. Next time I'm going to substatute rye instead of white.

Awesome!

They turned out great!   I have been falling more and more in love with baking with rye myself.   My recipe is based of a lot of things I learned from Daniel Leader's book "Bread Alone".   I have since been making my own adjustments and turning out some beautiful stuff for my customers!   :)   I will be posting the recipe and some pics later tonight!

is this Reinhart's from BBA?

wakeandbake, is this Reinhart's from BBA? That's a nice formula.

That link wasn't mine

But, the recipe is one I formulated on my own adapted from a rye and pumpernickel recipe from Bread Alone by Daniel Leader.

If you are asking me than no.

It's a combination that I tried because I did not have enough spelt flour, so I addet white.

Wow!!

Very impressive - even for a pro baker like you wakeand bake :-)  Your customer's must be happy!!
