Thanks, Floyd. My contibution to the table today is a batch of crescent rolls. They came out of the oven about an hour ago. Now all I have to do is keep my hands off of them until our guests arrive for dinner. Good baking to all.
Here in mexico I am continuing experimenting with a recipe for ciabatta, technique by the NYT, the result being what is a good imitationof a "crumpet loaf"...
I am happy with this and just dropped a braided loaf with christmas card to a neighbours...
