Cookie dropper

Hi all,

My father has a cookie dropper that he got from his mother years ago. It was originally made by Maid of Scandinavia, but the company has since closed. I'd love to find this cookie dropper for myself, as I think that the new ice-cream-scoop style ones are less useful. The picture is posted here:

I Googled "cookie dropper" and within a second the following link popped up from Country Kitchens  

Costs all of a buck seventy.

That looks interesting

Can  I use it to drop cream puff batter?  I find it difficult to control the amount of batter each drop.  If it will work I probably will order one.  Al
