Thanks!
That's good news, David - am down to my last 3# of Sir Lance and had been checking the KAF site looking for a shipping deal. Nothing there yet (or in my mailbox), but will keep on checking.

Hmm
Indeed.
I got that email, however.....
Just thought I'd let everyone know that when I tried to place my $80 order online tonight it still showed up with a shipping amount in the total. I called but they couldn't help me since it is after customer service hours so I intend to call back tomorrow. I'm not entering my credit card number until I'm sure that I won't be charged!

Oh well. I ordered over the phone today. I'll have to remember that if I have a problem again next time!

Selective offer
I visited KAF today and asked online about the free shipping offer, "speaking" with Frank. He told me it applied only to those who received an email offering the free shipping with a $75 order.
Although my last KAF order was around $80 and I intended to spend $75+, I never received the email so I'll give Stan's All Trumps flour a try....if I can use a credit card instead of PayPal.
The New York Bakers takes the major cards but
it appears they are processed through PayPal, regardless. I just placed an order a couple of days ago and paid with a Mastercard. The receipt from processing the payment came from PayPal, even though I do not have a PayPal account.

$2 per bag of KA
While visiting the in-laws last week in Missouri, I saw KA flour, all varieties, for $2 a 5# bag at a store called "Schnucks". Not familiar with the store, so don't know if it's a chain. I almost bought some, then remembered that I was flying with a single carry-on bag. I never see prices like that on the west coast.
Yes, $2 for KA sounds great to me, too!
Was just at my local Von's/Safeway. KA Bread Flour is $5.49/5#, while KA WWW and WW are on sale for $4/5#.
