Does anyone know a very healthy and easy to make pizza recipe?

Hi all, please let me know of good and healthy recipes for pizza, thanks

I have a recipe up on my blog for pizza dough. I also believe I put it on one of the fourm posts at  one point in time.  Pizza doesn't have to be unhealthy. In Italy they often use vegetables such as eggplant, zucchini, peppers etc. and shell fish as toppings. Also I use goats cheese and basil, mixed mushrooms and anything I have in my vegetable draw. Don't cover it with tons of cheese and stay away from fatty meats. I also often use fresh cherry tomatoes or puree my own fresh tomatoes. In Italy pizza is one of those dishes where anything goes and is made with whatever is leftover.


One of the other members put up a great post on how to make good pizza dough. There area lots of great suggestions. Search pizza there are many posts you should find it there. Wish I could remember who it was.

that would make great pizzas. Search here, or on the internet at large.   The new Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day has one and it's very easy to make.


I concur with turosdolci that the stuff you put ON the pizza makes it healthy or not.  We love tons of vegies on ours and never eat meat on our pizzas. 


I like the vegies to carmelize and give off their sweet flavors and I like to taste the pizza itself, so I don't load it up too heavily with sauces. Also, I am not a big tomato sauce fan, so a drizzle of olive oil with a light topping of cheese or a VERY THIN layer of ranch dressing before laying down the vegies is great by me.  Kind of like salad on a pizza shell.

Here is the site where you can find out how to make a good pizza crust. You can use my dough recipe but try some of the methods suggest in this post.  I tried the parchment paper suggestion for putting it on the stone and it worked perfectly without adding any semoline, cornmeal or flour.
