These popular little garlic knots were made from some of my frozen pizza dough. Topped with EVVO, Italian parsley, I had in the freezer; minced fresh garlic and romano cheese.
These look wonderful. Great little appetizer. But what is EVVO?

Only those of us that have done that are allowed to tease you in that manner. I just replaced my keyboard with a goofy "N" key that has been trying to out me as a sloppy speller who loves to double n everything.
Just goes to show you that your brain interprets as you read. I didn't even realize the oops until someone else pointed it out. I knew exactly what you meant and even said EVOO in my head (too much watching Rachel Ray cooking shows - LOL). There goes a career in proof reading (though I do seem to find a lot of typos in the novels I read).
And now I must make (and keep in my freezer) a large batch on pizza dough. Those look REALLY yummy.
I looked at the kitchen clock and it's 4 p.m. Just in time!

Did you let the dough rise a bit first, and for how long ?

Hi Anna, Thank you! No I didn't..by the time I finished they were a little puffy and I dropped them on parchment onto a very hot 500°F pre heated stone so they puffed up. The dough I had was frozen and was very slack..not the best stuff. Letting them proof a little works good too! Roll or stretch out a rectangle about 1/4 inch or little less and a pizza cutter works great..slice it down the center long ways and then make slices up and down strips..they'll be about 4 inches long.. they will probably stretch a little when you gently knot them.

quick question, how do you defrost the frozen pizza dough?
Just set it out and let soften up enough for shaping. Mine is frozen in little oiled bags each containing a flattened ball for one pizza.
