Measuring Conversions
Hello ! I am new to The Fresh Loaf website and would like to ask a question. I am just beginning to get into baking bread and I see in a lot of recipes that items are measured in grams, etc. Is there a place on the internet that will convert the grams into ounces? thank you so much !!

100 grams = 3.5274 ounces (Avoirdupois)
28.350 grams = 1 ounce
Welcome and happy baking!

Hi there
If you use Google or your favourite search engine you'll be able to find lots of useful calculators. Type in "convert X " (where X = grams or temperature or metric to imperial or whatever you want to convert). You will find there are many calculators so you can choose the one that suits you best.
Here's one I like that gives you several choices:

Also on the right hand side you will see links to other calculators, I often use the volume ones (1 cup of flour weighs etc) and the temperature one.
Hope this helps
Don't know how I ever made it without ConvertX.
Well, luckily I was told about it, shortly after I began baking.
