I live in Park County Colorado, kinda near Como, and am in early planning for building a wood fired oven next spring.
Anyone here from that part of the world who has built a WFO and would share their experiences?

Look at Forno Bravo!
I would suggest looking on the Forno Bravo web site. They have free plans for a brick oven they call the Pompeii as well as oven building materials and precast modular and prebuilt ovens. Several of the Forno Bravo forum members are active on this site! While the FB site is primarily devoted to pizza ovens their forum includes all kinds - barrel vault (Alan Scott), earth, mobile, and odd!
