Seeking Corn to Mill

Anyone have a good online source for whole corn? I've tried Pleasant Hill and Wheat Montana. Amazon has some 25 pound bags for $400+, which makes me think that the corn has been gold plated first...

I tried popcorn, but it's too wet (Retsel w/ steel wheels).

Thanks!

Hi,

There is a mill here in MA/RI that mills a supposedly very special kind of flint corn.

http://graysgristmill.com/

I keep vowing to drive down there.  My understanding is that some of the Boston bakeries use Gray's corn meal preferentially for its deep flavors.

Perhaps they'd send you some corn.

I got 10# each of yellow and blue corn from Heartland, and last night made cornbread from a 50/50 mix of the two plus freshly-milled white winter wheat that I sifted to 85% extraction. They look like poppy seed muffins, but taste divine. Thanks for the link!
