Brick Bread Oven Workshop

I Was thinking about how to bring health to a community and I thought about scripture about breaking bread with others. I decided to reach out to Cincinnati my home town. I am going through the community centers and reaching out to the directors to be involved in a brick bread oven workshop. I believe this will be a great tool for healthier neighborhoods. I wan to share this workshop with the fresh loaf community hoping that you will npass this tool along to people you know who are go getters when it comes to lifting up urban life. Blessing to all!

I am a Gringo living in Mexico and am interested in baking my own bread and  particular in sourdough.  I go to various supermarkets, including Walmart, and none have sourdough bread, so I want to make my own.  All the flour is all-purpose regular white or wheat.  I have a starter sponge that after 2 weeks smells pretty good, but is not rising to double size even after a fresh feeding.  I live at an altitude of about 5000 ft and the air temp this time of the year is always around 80 degrees F.  I started this starter with the white flour and let nature take its course.  My Spanish is OK for general conversation, but I have trouble when the conversation get technical.  Maybe there is a bilingual baker on site?
