A 'favorites' list?

A 'favorites' list?

Hello!  I am new to the site.   I would like to know if there is a way to 'save' recipies I have found on the site, or to save the url to the recipies.  That would save me from 'searching' the site every time I come back to the site to reread or reprint the recipie.  You know, kinda like a list of 'favorites.'

Hi Lynner,

You could easily bookmark your favorites.  Just create a folder called TFL (or whatever), and stash the bookmarks there.  I use that system to keep up with blogs I'm interested in and find it works pretty well for me.

As said, right click on the page and "save as bookmark".

To save the recipe itself, you can hold down the left mouse button and highlight the recipe. Right click "copy" and paste it into your favorite editor.

Or you can right click and "save page as" but this sometimes creates a sloppy page.

I frequently use Google Docs to save recipes. This way you get a free full fledged editor online.

There are many, many other ways to save recipes and whole pages, especially with the Firefox web browser.

All of you are using Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Opera as your browser, aren't you?

Yes, I am a web developer. :)

Thanks Dr!  I think I can do that!    I am a real novice and look forward to what I will be learning here......baking and otherwise!

I read the site through Google Reader.  When I see something I like, I star it.  I do that for all the food blogs I read.  Then I have all my blog originating recipes in one place!
