I'm an avid home baker and have also taken classes and worked professionally in a bakery (but still love home baking the best).
I'm a bread nerd because I see posts such as "this is the james beard recipe and I used 70% hydration" and I know EXACTLY what they mean! :)
This year I also built a mud oven (from Kiko Denzer's book) and am slowly learning how to use it--so far with pretty good success!
