With the first photo I saw a great loaf.
In the second, I saw an artsy photo of bread.
But the third photo warned me to stay away from 'his' bread! lol!

Kachina story?

Do you know what the kachina represents? Does it have anything to do with bread?

Unfortunately I don't know what the Kachina represents. We picked him up on the Hopi reservation during a Tony Hillerman phase.... He protected Greg's cubicle at HP in Palo Alto for many years and now he's here keeping watch over us in BC. Maybe I should move him to the kitchen to supervise for awhile.

yes, but...
Not on purpose. It got too close to the top coil in the oven. I was afraid that the whole loaf would stick to the top of the oven and I'd have a project to clean it off, but it just got that little mark. I think it looks cool and I'm wondering how to do it on purpose.
