New meaning of "oven spring"

This loaf sprang right off the back of the baking stone.

Didn't some one already suggest a forum for "Dumb Bread Tricks?"

Happy baking!

Cracked me up!!

I giggled and said OMG! Did it really spring like that!!?? It looks like it didn't quite make it on the stone and hung over the edge.

Who Says Pizza is a Flatbread?

David, your loaf reminds me of what I call "The Persistence of Pizza", in homage to the great surrealist painter Salvador Dali:

Ciatatta

Listen, if you could stretch your dough even further over the edge of the baking stone, you'd achieve ciabatta as I've done in the past!

Two fantastic expressive

Two fantastic expressive pieces in which the Tate Galleries will undoubtedly show great interest.  Bravo!  Bravo!  It is a bit like Dali meets Frank Gehry will a hint of Jackson Pollack.

Masterpieces.

That's a thought ...

Or maybe start a gallery of my own. Better hours than that of a professional baker, for sure!

Jumpin' Salmon

Hey, dmsnyde, gives a new meaning to salmon loaf.  It's all in the taste, brother; enjoy.

Hmmmm .... I hadn't seen it that way.

Hi, flournwater.

Yeah! Spawning perspectives, Batman!

The taste is fantastic! Matter of fact, it would go great with the salmon cakes we're having for dinner tonight.
