Pan sizes
I am just starting to bake and I love it but I have a question , I have a recipe that call for a 8x4 loaf pan but I need to use a 9x5 instead , how can I change the amount of the ingredient needed ? Thanks to anybody can help.

The larger pan will take about 1.4X the amount of dough (or whatever) to fill it to the same height.
You may need to adjust cooking times as well, depending.
That said, for bread, you may not need to adjust the dough volume at all -- you'll just end up with a loaf that's longer & wider, but not as tall.

And unless the ingredients are increased proportionally, the dough won't spring as high when using a larger loaf pan.
Thanks for the advice , I appreciate it .
