Hello.  I just wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Pen.  Recently after an 8 year hiatus, I started baking again.  It truly is good to have  my starters bubbling away once again.  We moved to our present location 5 years ago, and low and behold KA is not 15 minutes away.  Lately it has been my home away from home.  I look forward to chatting with fellow bakers.  This website is a wonderful mix  of ideas and experience.

Welcome to TFL, Pen! It sound as if you have a super place to hang out:  KAF.  Have you taken any classes there?

I keep promising myself to sign up for some classes, but time always gets in the way, LOL.  In the meantime, it is just nice to walk around the store and get ideas.  My eight year old has his no knead sourdough experiment proofing in my fridge.  He probably will get to classes before I will.

Welcom to the Loaf. Living near KAF would be like working at a chocolate factory for me. Good luck with that lol. This is a great place to advance the craft among friends. It is moving along quickly in the forums so you need to stay on the subject and mark your favorites so you can find your way back later. I look forward to seeing your posts.
