One of my favorite bargain sites, Hot Deals Club, is pointing out this bargain on a nice KitchenAid standmixer:
Amazon.com - KitchenAid Artisan Mixer for $155 after rebate KitchenAid KSM150PS Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer is on sale for $200 with free shipping. Coupon code AUGSAVER takes $25 off, making the purchase price $175. And a $20 mail-in rebate is available.
Available in Metallic Chrome, Empire Red, Onyx Black, and White. The reviews of the mixer are great.
This is a great deal. The next best deal on this mixer is at LinensNThings, at $216 after 20% coupon code 989100000001, and before the $20 rebate. Most other stores sell this mixer for $230 to $300.

Oh well!!!
KitchenAid KSM150PS
Cheer up! Mine cost £300 or $570 in England!!!!
But it is a great mixer -ideal for bread making.
Mixer deal
I think it was longer than one day, but it is definitely over now.
The best deal I see now is the white one for $229.
I went for the Viking
I went for the Viking mixer.

It is $219, for a "factory second" -- the deal of a lifetime. Nothing whatsoever wrong with mine. It has an 800 watt motor, fabulous rock solid construction. I found a meat grinder accessory and bought that at 40% off and this thing rocks!!
It is far, far more powerful than the Kitchenaid. IMHO, this is the one to get! I couldn't be more delighted. There is nothing this won't do and it never has overheated or slowed down or stalled.
kenwood chef
I got a Kenwood chef - not as retro looking as Kitchen Aid, but an excellent mixer. Lots of extras avaiable too - pasta maker (even extrudes ridged rigatoni !!) sausage filler, flour mill, meat grinder, kibbeh maker etc etc - love it! BUT --- I usually knead using Dan Lepard's 10 second knead method, so don't any longer use it for bread!
