Willing Volunteer for Chicago Baker

Hi There,

I work in the loop in Chicago, IL. I was lucky to recieve a promotion at my firm. However, the promotion entailed switching to 3rd shift and working from 12:30am to 10:00am. Since I love baking and understand these hours are when most bakers are preparing their doughs/breads, I thought there might be a chance for me to volunteer and help out at a Chicago bakery or restaruant 1 or 2 days a week on the weekends. I bake from home but my bread baking is mediocre at best. However, I think I could provide great assistance.

HOBART KITCHENAID MIXER EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH ALL ATTACHMENTS

Kitchenaid HOBART (i.e. it can actually handle dough kneading) Mixer in excellent condition. Comes with bowl shield, paddle & whisk attachments, and dough hook, plus 5 quart stainless steel mixing bowl. Photos are available upon request.

Beautiful off white color with very few blemishes. Simply stated it’s a workhorse.  Lack of counter space near an outlet and a recent lumbar disc herniation make it necessary for me to say goodbye to this reliable and favored member of my appliance family.

Looking for long-term employment

March 26, 2007 - 12:31am -- RachaelScanlon

My name is Rachael, my husband John and I both love working with artisan bread. We've learned a lot in the time that we had spent in a small bakery before, but know there is much much more to learn. We live in Port Townsend but are willing to move almost anywhere in Washington state. My husband is looking for the right people to work for and the right atmosphere in which to work. My husband has experiance in baking, shaping, packaging, sales, managing and cleaning.
