Submitted by Taylor810 on December 29, 2009 - 1:41pm Marathon Uni-Mill QuestionsI just started milling my own wheat for bread by hand about 1 month ago and that got really old, real quick. While looking for my next "upgrade" I found this site. What a wonderful site this it. Thanks. I just acquired a Marathon Uni-mill through ebay which is on its way as I type. I am looking for some guidance regarding its use (milling settings, cleaning, general care, etc). Any helpful tips, hints, suggestions would be great.
Thank you, Submitted by colmin on December 1, 2009 - 9:24am Cleaning Grinder MillstonesI just got a used Marathon Uni-Mill grinder, and when I took it apart to clean it thoroughly, I found old, hard layers of dust caking the stones. How do I get these clean? Do I have to send them somewhere to have them dressed (is that the term?)? Thanks! |
