The famous Soreen Malt Loaf is a dense sticky loaf of bread that so many love. This is my interperetation of this classic UK loaf of bread. While not identical, the flavours are there and the result is damn tasty.

we have a couple of British shops opened recently, sell only English stuff, one shop is in Niagara Falls, about 15/20 mins away the other shop is at the top of the road.
Living in England for several years I fell in love with the small, slightly sticky, malt loaf. It is a dark rich "tea" bread. I have never been able to find a recipe for one. Anyone in England, or anywhere else, have one please? It is a small loaf and sometimes had raisens in it. Monica
