I've been lurking around this site for awhile now, but finally registered and decided to start posting. I've been baking bread for about a year and a half now and I really enjoy it. I'm a full-time Ph.D. student so baking is my "me time."
In the past I usually concentrated on plain old sandwich bread, but lately I have been leaning toward making artisan-type bread. I'm growing my first sourdough starter as we speak (type?) so hopefully that will be ready to go soon.
