egg & soy free sweet dough

I have a granddaughter that has been put on a soy and egg free diet. We've always made a sweet roll refrigerator roll for family get togethers. What suggestions would you have to replace the egg? The recipe calls for 1 egg.

I'd  appreciate any suggestion that you would have. Thank you for your time.
