Hello from New Mexico

I've been reading posts here for a few months but never introduced myself. I'm Lee Ann from New Mexico; I've baked yeast breads for years but finally jumped on the 2020 pandemic sourdough bandwagon in...January of this year. I've also made a few poolish baguettes that I've been pleased with.

So far my sourdough is turning out pretty well; my best result so far has been walnut sourdough using The Perfect Loaf's recipe. I just bought a Bosch Universal Plus since my KitchenAid can't keep up with mostly whole wheat dough.

I'm looking forward to learning from you all!

Hi all,

My name is Kevin- a recent law school grad, and I love baking generally and baking sourdough. I’ve been lurking on the fresh loaf on and off since 2014, having been inspired by so many amazing bakers here. Finally decided to join in on the fun! I have a lot of free time since I recently took the bar- and have one month which I can solely devote to baking nonstop :).

Hello bread folk,

With all the drama going on in Reddit, I asked my fellow Redditors for other bread machine site options and, lo and behold, your formerly newest member RyeSmile answered my call!

It might take me a few to get my feet wet, but I look forward to participating in lively discussions about bread.  I too will likely spend most time in the Bread Machine section with hopes to learn from other areas as time goes on.

Hello everyone,

QGirl is a name I use often online, but Courtney works as well. I've been doing baking since jr. high where I started to bake bread. I've since made a few sourdough starters and made several breads with it. My favorite has been a 24 hour sourdough! I also like making challah bread and white bread.

I also do some other things not related to bread-making like cookies, jams, and pies. Baking is one of my many hobbies.

Hey there, I'm Moses!
I’ve been baking a lot of traditional Sicilian bread, but recently I’ve been exploring a lot of other types of bread, such as pita and Tampa-style Cuban bread, which I both enjoy and am very proud of.

I look forward to learning from all of you here, as well as sharing some of the recipes that had I’ve made these last few years.
