Baking percentages in lbs & ozs

I am not fortunate enough to have a scale that measures in grams and I can't bring myself to toss my old one "it still works".  I was nosing aroung the web and ran across this site. For any of you who are looking for something like this, it works really well.  And the best part, it explains in a way that even I can unbderstand.  If this has been posted before, I apologize.

I have online spreadsheets that will calculate the weights in grams, pounds, or ounces.  You can check them out here http://oakflatsourdough.homeunix.com/index.php/Table/2009/Spreadsheets/  Hopefully they will be helpful.

to the online spreadsheets, they are pretty amazing and so easy to read and use.  One of these days with the help of kind people like you, I will be able to call myself a baker.

Thanks so much for the link to

I've been able to handle this stuff from the front end but when I come in from the back door (trying to work the hydration levels of my existing sourdough cultures) into a fresh formula my mind gets pretty fuzzy.  This link helped me a lot.
