How about citrus marmalade?
Maple butter, creamy honey, just plain butter?
a good roast?
over a few pasta noodles as an excuse to have sauce to dip up with the bread.
Thanks for posting your lovely blog entry on marmelade-making! I love a good "bitter" marmelade, the British style that's sold in the white glass jars. It has a bite to it, with plenty of the deep citrus undertones. I'm going to give your recipe a try.
Thanks, Terri. I hope you like it.
I've looked everywhere for the bitter Seville oranges to make my marmalade but can't find them..so I just settle for organic oranges with pretty skins!
... more bread! ;-)
But honestly, just some good butter or butter plus raspberry jam does it for me.
it in a little EVOO with garlic/chopped basil.
sourdough, of course.
guaranteed no calories ;)
