Because I never post anything, but I do sometimes take pictures....

Cream Cheese Snail Madness! (as per recipe here.)

Here are some action shots of Floyd making cream cheese snails for our afternoon tea yesterday:

Oh Yum!!  Do you ( or Floyd) think these could be made with light cream cheese - spreadable kind?  Thanks.

I don't know... I wondered the same thing myself.

I used what my grocery store labels as "Neufchatel Cheese."  As far as I can tell, it is just a lower fat version of their regular cream cheese.  It does tend to be softer, but not as soft as the whipped stuff sold in tub.

Thanks, the cream cheese I get at Trader Joe's is in a tub, but it's pretty dense, not the fluffy really whipped kind.  It's worth experimenting.  Thanks again, those really look delicious.

Delicious looking and I had to see these just as I sat down with my cup of tea!!  I also use my glass shield upside down with a silpat to keep it from slipping!!

Love the snails and cream chhheeesse is a favorite! Is that a sweet bread recipe or like a pastry?
