Where to buy durum berries in a small quantity

I cannot buy from central milling because each bag of their berries is 50 pounds.

 Thanks,

....in case you need another source, I was able to get 5lbs at a reasonable price from Purcell Mountain Farms.

I see that Yippee solved the problem, but for anyone looking in the Midwest of the U.S., Breadtopia (Iowa) has Durum Berries in stock in quantities as small as 5 lbs.
Now if only my fettuccine cutter was in stock!

I thought I'd get 4 lbs for 13$, but it's the price per lb!  These are the most expensive berries I've ever bought!

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will have to look into those websites to buy durum berries in the future.

Yippee, that sounds pretty expensive per pound. The site I mentioned offers 5 pounds for $7.50 or $1.50 per pound. I assume it gets more economical per pound as you increase the order up to a 5 gallon bucket. Shipping is not included, so, depending where you live, the delivered price will vary. I'm no expert on sources, I've only bought from about five different sources when it comes to whole berries. I like Central Milling, but for me freight becomes a factor.

Would love to support Great River as I'm even in the same state they are. They don't sell direct and so I have to give Amazon a cut to buy from them. While the price you found looks good and I'm sure GR quality is high, I checked Breadtopia and 20 lbs. from them is only $25 vs. $40 from GR/Amazon. That leaves $15 for to cover freight to break even. Would actually like to compare both for quality and taste. Let us know how you like the GR product if you bake with it.

I’m not milling yet. But I’ve bought their organic rye flour in 25# bag through amazon. And I love their rye. Breadtopia charges me $24 to ship 20# out to California. So that’s $49 vs $40 from amazon.
great rivers has lots other grains and flours through amazon too which works out great for me. They also supply Costco in some areas.

Thanks for your very helpful comments Ciabatta. Freight is a biggie in determining best price for berries or ground flour.
The Costco near me also carries Great River AP at an extremely affordable price. Has anyone tried it? Does anyone know the protein content compared to KAF AP? It would be a great solution to the freight issue ; - ) Costco also carries 10 lb. bags of AKF AP, but unfortunately not the Organic AP.

I ended up buying 50lbs from them.  ~$37+$15 shipping=$52, i.e.~ $1/lb--much cheaper than paying $13/lb.
