Looking for a cake style Blondies recipe.

I love my cake style brownies, but the Dr says I have to lay off the chocolate.I've scoured the interwebs for a cake style Blondies recipe in hopes that those might be a reasonable alternative (even tho there is no wonderful wonderful chocolate in a traditional Blondie recipe). The internet is awash with ooey gooey dense Blondies recipes, but no cake style recipes that I could find.

Anybody?

Thanks.

I appreciate the help chefscook, but I am looking for a recipe that yields a cake style texture. The comments indicate that cake batter Blondies end up being dense and gooey, which is the opposite of what I am looking for.I'll try the recipe and see how it works..

Thanks,
