Ankarsrum help needed

I purchased my Ankarsrum this past September.  It has worked well and I easily adapted to it.  Today, I was making a marshmallow cream filling ( recipe here ) .  I was using the loop beaters, not the whisk, at top speed for about 10 minutes, stopping at least once to scrape down the sides.  I stopped the mixer to add the vanilla, turned it back on and ....  nothing.  It won't turn on.  I've checked that the cord is plugged in properly and there's power to the receptacle.  I don't see any form of reset button.  I have unplugged it and replugged it.  I've let it sit about 20 minutes in case it's overheated....

Does anyone have any ideas or encountered a similar situation?

Call 1.770.516.5000 tomorrow and speak with Ashley McCord. She will get you fixed up. They are the US distributors for Ankarsrum USA.

I assume you are in the USA.

Please let us know the fix once you figure it out.

I have to say, I'm impressed.  I know Ankarsrum is considered a good company, but I'd move that up a peg to great.  I received a response from them before 9:00 AM asking for the SN and that I verify that the plug was well seated.  Within an hour I received an option to either ship the unit to them (I HATE packing objects like this and shipping it out) or they could send me a circuit board that's easily replaced.  No further questions asked.  No further testing.  They quickly took care of it with the least possible inconvenience for me.  Love it!

I just mixed a standard lean loaf, Modernist Cuisine's and an hour ready I gathered everything to mix an enriched loaf.  And now it won't start.  Just a clicking when I turn the knob on for the timer buttons.

I love this but I am not in the mood at this hour to pull out an old KA and give this dough a go in it.
