c100t attachment identification
We purchased a beautiful C100T Hobart and it sounds PERFECT..
Have yet to test under load. Had issue with timer but removed and repaired.
This part however has us baffled. Anyone know what this might be?
The "screen" part fits in a bowl and the ceramic part is spring loaded. it does rotate inside the walls perfectly.

This is a colander attachment, nice find you have here because this accessory is uncommon, and all the more rare for the 10 Qt size in a such good shape :-) This item is perfect for making purees, mashed potatoes and fruit sauces. It's not listed wihtin the known C100 catalogues, but it is for the earlier C10 model (no problem these models are 100% compatible each other) :

We also have the small 5qt bowl, adapter, whip and paddle.. As well as 2 - 10qt bowls, whisk, paddle, dough hook, and splash guard, pastry knife and grinder attachment..
We did well!.
All at an auction for $240 . . and a little troubleshooting to get the timer working.

Just one detail : the reduction bowl is 3qt capacity, it's a little smaller in diameter than the regular 5qt bowl encountered on many models of the Hobart/KA mixers family. This is a nice avantage since it will allow you to whip a very low amount of eggs,cream,etc.
