Baking and chillin' in New England

Greetings, Fresh Loafers! Newish baker here, been baking bread only about half a year. I had baked no-knead loaves once a year or so over the previous several years, but never really caught the bug. Something happened last fall after trying my hand again with NK bread...suddenly I had to bake another loaf, and then another, and then I discovered bread blogs and forums and became fascinated with the art and science of bread. Anyway, that acute condition is now chronic and probably, hopefully, terminal, since I love bread and hope to keep on baking for decades.

I have the same condition.  There's no cure.  New fantazmically- baked loaves don't even help.  There are always new loaf discoveries around the corner.  That next great bake.  Recipe.  Ingredient.  Filling.  Topping.  Whatever.  There are thousands of combinations to fill the brain. Imho it's a modern day version of ancient zen meditation and practice.  That's how we do it.  Just my .02 cents.  Have fun!

As soon as I pull a loaf out of the oven I want to whip up another. It's that bad (good).

Be careful about that. You might just be engaging in a mortal sin, GLUTENY. Sorry, just cant resist a pun.

I'll just have to go to confession then. BTW isn't the tenth circle of hell reserved for the makers of bad puns?

Puns? I thought it was bad buns. Alright, I'll stop now.
