Economical 5-7 day shipping rates

Hello friends.

I was trying to find USPS flat rate shipping boxes to send out some of this nice C.B. Porridge bread. The only ones I find are 3 day priority boxes. I am confused about the cheapest way to ship a few loafs of bread from N.Y.C. to: FL. and AZ. Thanks for any help.

 Kind regards,

Will F.

Hi, Will,

You may weigh your loaves first, and then input the weight on the USPS website to get an estimate of the various shipping costs.  I doubt if they would be cheaper than the flat rate Priority Mail. PM usually delivers within 2 days,  so your bread will arrive more fresh. I usually use its envelope to ship my rye bread.

Thank you for your help. Your rye bread does not get crushed in the envelope?

as far as my friends' pictures showed on TFL, but keep in mind that the Baltic rye loaves I shipped were pretty "sturdy". The envelope fits a 1-kg oval/elongated loaf snugly.

Look at regional boxes.  You have to order them from USPS site but they may turn out to be cheaper.
