You can use Ankarsrum to power Wondermill Jr.

First time here. Just getting into milling and making my own bread. Brain stormed last night on powering the Wondermill jr.  PITA by hand.

Stopped in the shop this morning and found that a 1/2" piece of conduit fits the shaft PERFECTLY. Drilled a thru hole and use a hitch pin to secure. Cut a notch in other end to fit into the Ankarsrum. That simple.

Anybody interested? Plenty powerful machine. I just did 6 cups of wheat in about 4 minutes. Can't wait to put the steel wheels on and try some nut butters.  Its lowest speed is about as fast as hand cranking - Flour stays nice and cool.

I did a quick google search and can't find anybody else doing it this way. Cheap too. 5 bucks maybe and a little elbow grease. As long as you have or plan on getting the Assistant.

6" piece of conduit - Hitch pin - Hack saw - 5/16" and 1/4" drill bit - File.

I can let you know the details if interested.

Thanks, look forward to learning allot here.

I own a WM Jr and also an Ankarsrum. At first thought, I am hesitant to hitch my Ank to the mill. I love my mixer :-)

I use the drill attcahment for peanut butter and coffee beans, but it doesn’t work as well as I’d like.

Please post details and images, I like to take a look.

Thanks for posting.
