Day 7 in the life of Bready Krueger and Harp...

So relieved after looking at thin soupy starters, today is much improved. Harp has done a bit better than BK. Both active but BK a bit thinner. Harp is thicker and grown...So happy...at last...

You should start thinking about what to make for your first recipe.

BK could do with a bit more TLC.

Have you been feeding both at the same time everyday or have you been timing the feeds individually?

yes Harp has excelled himself, I think he must of liked his Harp glass...lol I’m holding out for BK he is just a bit slow. Both are being fed at the same time or I would lose track...lol.  I am on the hunt for a no fail recipe not to high hydration to begin with...maybe be I should just use young starter for things like pancakes to begin with ? I am looking forward to a single loaf maybe in a loaf tin to start with. Don’t have DUtch oven yet. Could try in a Pyrex dish will have to be inventive. I saw someone using 2 loaf tins on top of each other....anyway maybe a week away but will start looking....just glad so far so good...
