Oat Sourdough

Toasted some oat grains and milled them in my stonground mill. I also milled some mexican wheat grains and I completed the blend with some regular AP flour. This time I used stiff sourdough. Full of flavor and aromatic bread. Stiff sourdough is powerful.

Looks great.

Did you taste any difference by toasting the grains?  I have not tried this yet before milling and wonder if it makes a difference.

Thanks,
Ian

Yes, you can feel the difference, specially in some cereals like oat, which is always better toasted than raw.

Very nice light golden color!

I also like to bake it light, not too bold.
