Trying Autolyse first time....

Decided to try autolyse to see if it makes a difference to my basic everyday loaf....Have been trying to get to grips with a new mixer and finding I was getting the tornado effect of dough sticking to the bottom of the bowl. Well autolyse has cured that...fantastic! Another thing the dough kneaded easier. Will see how the loaf turns out, it’s on it’s second rise now. I only rested the dough for 30min after a short mix and it has helped....think I will be doing this every time now.

Happy with the crumb...not as much oven spring ...

the tornado was gone in the KA nice clean bowl not sticking to the bottom of bowl at all...lovely dough. Not as much oven spring...but went back to basic dough, flour, water, salt, yeast only added bit of sugar.... no milk no butter. So will work with this...
