Don't have a Brotform? Try a Salad Spinner!

This is an old photo I just came across the other day. I floured the heck out of my salad spinner's basket and I rose my sourdough in it (actually if remember correctly I sprayed it with oil first to get the flour to stick to it). It actually came out a lot better than I had remembered it; check it out!

I use plastic colendars.  Sometimes I spray and flour like you do and other times I line them with a floured linen cloth.  For smaller loaves, I found a green plastic "berry" basket at the big box store and it works nicely, too.

Never thought of the salad spinner idea. I love the imprint on the sides. You did a fine job.

Yeah, it said in your original post that the Photobucket picture had been deleted or moved. I can see it now !..nice pattern, great idea. The flour pattern is quite prominent. Is the flour discernable in taste?
