The Winston Knot Series

There is a basic sequence of steps for making the Winston Knot with scope for variations regarding the length of the braid and number of threads comprising it.

Here I present examples of it.

Wow, your braiding of dough is very impressive :)

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Thank you for your comments Ru007.

I find that little has been published about the Winston Knot so I experimented with a whole series of them; I expect to bring them out here.

Best regards, and have patience with me.

I always just drop a dough ball in a bread mold. Your braids look excellent. That's a great talent.

Thank you. I am trying to teach everybody how to do it.

Looks great. What dough are you using? Very white.

Thank you for your comment. The whiteness is just the product of overexposure of the picture, unfortunatelly it is the only one I have. This was chronologically the first of the Winston Knot breads I made and I was overexcited with literally having "broken the code" of how they are made.

These are very neat! What type of dough are you using to make the braids with?

Thank's for your comment. Mostly I use Hamelman's Challah dough.
