They say "Time flies when you're having fun," and my 96-year-old mother says, "The older you get, the longer the days and the shorter the years." A lot of water under the bridge .... Inside the Jewish Bakery, Norm's death, NYB and now the new book.
So there we are. So far, it's been terrific ... ups and downs, of course, but I'm pleased that we've been able to help our community find the flours they need without going too far afield.
As for the book, I'm pleased to announce that The Rye Baker will be officially published and available on September 27, a mere 18 days from now, but of course I'll be bruiting that all over the place.
And how are you doing in the steaming jungles of Southeast Asia? Able to feed your baking addiction? I've got to believe Austria was more agreeable, at least in that respect.
