Weaverhouse, local Prairie Gold

I found a local source for all kinds of grains and such locally to us.  I didn't know if others in our area might be interested.  I just ordered 100 lb. of Prairie Gold Wheat Berries.  The price is considerably more than it was last summer but, I'm thinking it is just going to keep going up, if for no other reason than fuel.  It is in Rittman which I think might be closer to you than Hartville.  You can order by phone and pick it up.  Terry

Thanks for thinking of me. Rittman is closer and easier to get to. Let me know any information you have and I'll place an order too. I think the grains will keep going up in price. Thanks again. I'll wait to hear from you.

Do you know about the Organic Whole Spelt grain and flour sold by TWIN PARK ORGANIC FARMS in West Salem OH. They set up at the Wooster Open Air Market and their prices are reasonable. They also sell wheat they grow but I don't know anything about it but plan to find out tomorrow. I'll let you know what they have if you're interested.

Weavershouse, I would love the info on TWIN PARK FARMS.  Thanks.

The place I ordered my grain from is Aeschliman Bread and Granary.  The phone number is (330)336-6084.  Good luck and happy baking.  Terry

I didn't for get you but I can't get through to TPF. They sold spelt all summer in Wooster at the market and I know they're a good size farm so we might just take a ride there. I'll let you know what I find out.

I called Aeschliman's and talked to a very nice woman to find out what they sell and how. I'll be calling her back to place my order. Thanks for that.                                                                        weavershouse
