I'm back from The Trip :)

Hey everyone!  I'm back from my big trip and I've got some stuff to share with you, mostly coming in the form of links to stuff I posted along the way on my phone. Lastly is a short video I made of the baking session I had in Moscow in the middle of May.

Here are a bunch of photos I took, both personal and professional along the way.

These are some photos from when I was working at the Black Dog Bar & Grill outside Prague.

And this is my bakery FB page that provides a little bit of narrative on some of the photos (if you look hard enough)  :)

Enjoy!

'Young Babuskas's' making bagels in Russia....I was weeping......But

Not teaching them your way best  'Big Sky Bear Claws' is a crime with Putin hanging around - you are lucky to have escaped :-)  What a wonderful experience and I'm so glad you shared it with us.  I can't wait to show my wife this video when she gets home.  Her family is from Odessa, with red hair from the Vikings and Jewish Bagel Bakers from way back!  You made my day and I hope they taught you how to make Russian Black Bread!

Happy Baking Mark

Glad you enjoyed the video and I hope your wife does also.  It was first (but not last) time in Russia and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  The people were so very kind, considerate, and hospitable.  I didn't learn Russian Black Bread, but I did learn three different types of breads that were fantastic.  I will share about them in the future.

Happy Baking to you!
