Hello from Burnaby, BC Canada

Hi

I've been little more than a lurker for a couple of years now. I originally trained as a baker in 2004 and left the profession in 2010 due to a back injury. In 2012 I started falling in love with baking again as a home baker and The Fresh Loaf helped me to get interested in sourdoughs. Thanks to advice found here and elsewhere, I started selling my bread to friends and family and then to neighbours.

The result is now I bake about 12 - 15 loaves a week, all with the starter I developed from advice here.  I've also started using locally grown organic wheat which I'm milling as needed at home. Now I'm trying to expand my MicroBakery by marketing my efforts as a Community Supported Bakery.

Please take a look at my business facebook page https://www.facebook.com/companionbakehouse  and send me any feedback you'd like. Feel free to share it with others, because you never know where social marketing can get to.

Thanks very much!

I'm off to find recipes for sprouted grains!

Hello A

your facebook page looks really good. I just started to bake artisan country bread, so I can not offer you any advises rather than just a big warm welcome~

p.s. I always give away my bread totally for free and ask for advise lol
