Back again

hello everybody, I've been out of the kitchen for a bit more than two years. But I'm back now. I stopped baking when my daughter was born and now I'm getting back into it. I have a simple recipe that I got online and when I'm feeling adventurous I just change the recipe a little. Today I made pumpkin and potato bread. It worked great but I'm sure I can do better next time.

I'mlooking forward to reading and learning more about this delicious hobby.

Too moist?  Use less vegetable or try dry roasting cut up cubes first.  Or shredding and drying the veg..  There is no gluten in pumpkin or potato (starch) so somewhere you will cross the line from bread into thickened mashed potatoes or pudding.  :)

Welcome back.  Still in Bangkok?

Still in Bangkok and have a lovely two year old who eats my bread.

Thepotato and pumpkin bread was delicious. Nice and soft and moist. Didn't have a problem with the lack of gluten because it was so wet I had to add heaps more flour.

Nextweek I think I will go back to the wholemeal and rye bread.
