Vollrath and Avantco Commercial Mixers

I see that Vollrath and Avantco both have under-$1,000 "commercial" mixers. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I changed the dough hydration of my recipe and am getting tired of scraping the dough off the KA dough hook. Dough-hook climb may be a problem with other mixers too -- who knows?

A small one. I currently use a 5-quart Hobart-era KitchenAid. I make small boules, not bagels for a family of 12.
