If you've heard of French Lick or West Baden we are about 15 miles southwest of there. We don't live in "town", such as it is. We have about 30 acres a few miles out of town next to Patoka Lake. Our part-time neighbor across the road is originally from Fort Wayne as well and has family and friends there still. It's very pretty but can be pretty isolated and it's sorely lacking in options for dining and shopping.
