The strangest looking whole wheat sourdouh ever

Just the other day, Tuesday, I attempted another loaf without following a recipe, but rather the instinctive artisan intuition.

Well, this is the bun that popped out of the oven. It is my most successfull loaf ever, though the recipe will remain a family secret.

Wow, I always thought that was a metaphor. I'm going to be A LOT more careful around my oven from now on...

(Adorable little bun. Is that a Blue Heeler acting as quality control?)

well, sort of.

blue heeler mix. the mystery in the mix allows her to appreciate the artisan nature of the bread rather than being so serious and work oriented
